Stacking bangles is big news this season but only stack on one arm or alternatively wear one chunky bangle on each arm. Really make an impact with different styles of bangle from chunky wooden to delicate pearl and keep stacking until you can stack no more (trying to avoid the dreaded chinking noises every time you move your arm).

I have to say I have never been a fan of tie dye and it kind of put me off two tone colour but this season I have surprised myself and have really fallen for the dip dye craze! Boutique Brummie

Well, we went to the Sunday Times Style in the City event and it was fab! The day kicked off at the Catwalk Show (hosted by Kelly Osbourne complete with black lipstick!). We saw lots of great clothes and models sporting blue leather gloves for autumn and quiffs in their hair. Then we mooched around the Boutique Shopping area, headed across to the Mailbox and had some complimentary Champagne in Harvey Nichols listening to trend forecasting, cocktails in Selfridges served by topless male models and had our make-up done, juice in Adidas with free fitness testing...but the best bit of all was Trinny & Susannah's Style Academy - a live version of their show. They made one poor woman strip totally but the woman they picked from the crowd and made over looked 10 years younger. Oh and forgot to mention the Goody Bag designed by Christopher Kane with popcorn, vouchers, notepad, magazines in...all in all a great day!
